Ok. I'm a guy and not that into shoes but I wear Sketchers for the comfort..not necessarily the looks. I have seen these off and on in stores and I like the looks. They are a casual shoe that you can wear to dinner or a movie. They are very comfortable. They usually cost around $65 dollars everywhere I have looked so the price on these was outstanding. My only minor issue is that they don't actually tie. They are a slip on shoe and I guess I didn't pay that close attention to that detail. Again...a guy not that into shoes. I like the ability to lace my shoes a little tighter because I have a narrow foot. All in all a good purchase.

Club C85 are NOT the same as the C MemT

Usually in the Black/Black or White/Navy there's only a $5 to $6 difference between the Club C85 and the Club Memt . Though the shoes my look similar...they are NOT. There is a huge difference in the quality and wear. The C85 has a sewn/glued sole while the Memt has just a glued sole (look carefully at the top edge of the sole on both shoes). The C85 also has better ventilation. The C85 has good arch support for the average foot while the Memt has little to no arch support (If you have arch problems you may not like either style). I have been buying the Club C85 for +35 years...Because I was in a hurry (and their similar appearance) I made the mistake of getting the Club Memt at The Shoe Station in Florida and immediately returned them as soon as I put them on my feet. I almost made the same mistake here on Amazon. I've shown a couple of photos of my current C85's...Both pair were purchased in 2012 for $54 each at The Shoe Station in Tallahassee FL. The White/Navy are my go to daily shoes after work and all day at least one day out of every weekend. I wear the Black pair 4 to 6 times a month...Hope this helps in making your purchase.

So so Perfect condition and comfort

I am flat footed and have had as far back as I can remember. Buying shoes that have the durability and comfort I need to get through the day has been a huge hit & miss and/or rolling of the dice because for all the $100.00+ shoes I have bought throughout the years I can count with one hand regarding the overall comfortably of the shoes where more so a knock off verses a name brand like Nike, Adidas, etc., etc.

This pair of shoes where unlike any pair I’ve bought to date regarding the overall condition and comfort. The only thing that I am having to do is exchanging the pair I recently ordered only because there was a reddish or black spot of sorts on the right shoe. I am having no problems whatsoever thus far and normally I probably wouldn’t even be exchanging but I want these shoes to last me as long as possible and will be looking into possibly purchasing more. These SO SO shoes need to renamed to the “Perfect SO SO SHOES”.

Excellent Walking Shoes, Costly but They Fit

So far the only ones I found that fit well after several foot surgeries. After many others first, I tired on the v4 of this model at the PX and they were almost the right size but could have stood being a size wider; sad because they were a screaming deal. I look on here and that version was getting horrible ratings though, so I bought 1700v1's and those actually were horrible, sent 'em right back. So I looked up more walking shoes and between the time it took to order and return the 1700's, Amazon was listing these new v5's and the handful of reviews were promising, saying they were better than the v4's. That's hard for me to to tell, but it does seem these are made a little better --and they damn well ought to be given the price-- because these cost as much as the top of the line running shoes they made 20 years ago when I was a runner, shoes I couldn't afford then. But with all the surgeries I've had and problems I've had finding shoes that not only fit but are comfortable, I gotta say I scored with these. There's room for my thick custom insoles and still enough room for my feet to lace up comfortably. So far I like 'em and can't complain and they even look nice. Certainly way better than those 1700's for sure.

Comfortable shoe. Heel and Achilles areas wear out quickly

I love these shoes. I really do. They are really comfortable and fit well. I have to order them a size or two larger than almost any other shoe brand, but that doesn't bother me. What does, is the material inside the shoe. The area for the heel and achilles wear out extremely quick compared to rest of the shoe. I'd replace the insert no problem, but the other portion isn't replaceable. These last me about 3-6 months depending on usage.

My job which sees the most wear on them, is at a library indoors on a carpeted area. I do a good deal of walking, and am not sure what the average user gets in terms of mileage. I work on a average a 5 hour day 5-6 days/week and on my feet all day with minimal down time.

Sucky presentation but cute shoes

This gets a 4 star because the product delivered in a plastic bag so the box was crushed. The paper was torn and it had obviously been returned because one shoe was fully laced and pulled open while the other was obviously tied from the factory. Presentation goes a long way. Because the presentation was awful I was afraid they were knockoffs. I spent an impossible amount of time making comparisons and measurements to my other Chucks. If they are knockoffs, it's a well executed knockoff. I couldn't find anything that stood out as odd. Their brand quality has definitely dropped over the years and they don't hold up like they used to. Recognizing they're lower quality than they were 20-25 years ago, they're exactly the quality I would expect for contemporary times. That being said, they're cute and I expect them to last long with light wear, or fall apart quickly with heavy wear. Either way, they make me happy for now.

My Favorite Crocs

Hands down my favorite pair of Crocs yet. I wear a 10 in a classic Croc, and a 10 in these fit perfectly. I’m a fan of the LiteRide footbed. Bought a black pair these to wear on vacation to the beach. I wore them, even out to dinner. However, for the beach, the tongue and laces hold water, and sand takes a little more than I’d like to rinse out. Swift water Wave is still my favorite for the beach. We did, however, get caught in a heavy rain while cycling, and they were the perfect “puddle jumpers”! The black gets a little hot if sitting/standing in direct sunlight, but not a dealbreaker by any stretch. They do squeak when they’re wet, but not when dry. I’ll get a pair of Pearl/White when the come available in my size. I think, for most, this shoe is exactly what you’re looking for if you’re considering it.

Good Quality, stretch resistant, if have wide feet might run tight at widest part of foot, try inserts!

I want to say that I LOVED the way this shoe looked! I searched high and low on amazon to find the right size. I have super tiny feet, normally a size 5-5.5. Oftentimes smaller depending on the brand, but since I knew they ran large, I did not want to buy a size 6 and hope for the best (as most of you who have size 5 feet can probably relate to this!) Anyways I finally found this seller and was SO excited. The shoes arrived and were everything I wanted as far as looks. However I noticed they squeezed a bit at the widest part of my foot, right on the bone (I do have wide feet for my shoe size). Putting inserts in relieved this on my left foot, but not on my right so ultimately I opted to return them, since my intention was to get them for a walking trip in Europe. I'm still giving them excellent reviews because once I used the insert on my left foot it felt great. I can only assume that my right foot is slightly bigger or something. The fit did run slightly large everywhere else in the shoe, so I was surprised at the tightness in the largest part of my foot. I have quite a high arch as well so that might have something to do with it. So I guess if you are having a little problem with comfort, try putting inserts in before you've completely abandoned the product. It was a really well put together shoe. The rubber runs up higher on the shoe so I think this would prevent stretching that typically comes with canvas shoes.

Looking for comfort, this is your shoe.

I was coming off ankle surgery when I purchased these shoes, I was skeptical about them as I am used to wearing expensive name brand shoes for work. Unfortunately, after my surgery I could no longer use my expensive shoes and had to find comfortable, affordable shoes for work. I decided to purchase these and let me tell u! These are by far the most comfortable shoes I’ve even owned. My ankle loved me after I purchased these. I recently purchased a second pair, different color because I now feel I can’t wear anything else but these! I’m so thankful I ran into these shoes. If you have foot issues, recovering from surgery on foot, ankle surgery, and need something comfortable, light weight, then this is your shoe. They may not fit all your suit and tie gear, but u can most definitely make it work. I love the ankle part of the shoe, it literally so thin, like wearing a sock! Definitely recommend these shoes! You’ll enjoy them as much as I have.
