Sucky presentation but cute shoes
This gets a 4 star because the product delivered in a plastic bag so the box was crushed. The paper was torn and it had obviously been returned because one shoe was fully laced and pulled open while the other was obviously tied from the factory. Presentation goes a long way. Because the presentation was awful I was afraid they were knockoffs. I spent an impossible amount of time making comparisons and measurements to my other Chucks. If they are knockoffs, it's a well executed knockoff. I couldn't find anything that stood out as odd. Their brand quality has definitely dropped over the years and they don't hold up like they used to. Recognizing they're lower quality than they were 20-25 years ago, they're exactly the quality I would expect for contemporary times. That being said, they're cute and I expect them to last long with light wear, or fall apart quickly with heavy wear. Either way, they make me happy for now.
