Merrell Men's Moab 2 Vent Mid Hiking Boot

#1:Merrell Men's Moab 2 Vent Mid Hiking Boot

 BUY NOW

 Very sturdy hiking boot.
Have used Merrill for years during my archery hunting seasons. They have held up great so I purchased this pair. This hear when the temp dropped down in the mornings, I noticed these boots to have way to much air flow and my feet got cold. My older Merrill boots were all leather so that was the difference.
If these are worn for hiking in warm weather, they would be great since they breath so well. They are also very light weight which I like when wearing them on walks or around outside the house. Just not made for the cooler days.
Highly recommend them and they fit great. Put them on and away you go without breaking them in.

The Perfect Boot
I had tried the low top version of this boot a year prior and wanted to give these a go. They are just as comfortable as the low tops but obviously have a bit of ankle support.

I use these boots both for hiking and for work and they do both very well as they are very comfortable and as an added bonus provide an additional inch of height making me 6’4.” The fit is just right and there isn’t really anything wrong with these boots.

Good enough for My. Ararat
These boots were comfortable and durable enough to get me to the snowy peak of Mt. Ararat at over 5000m. I had no trouble attaching crampons to them in the snow and doubling up my socks underneath.

There was no need to break them in either. Many of my fellow hikers had much fancier, more expensive mountaineering boots so I was worried that they wouldn't be good enough, but they were. Meanwhile, those with the fancy boots complained about their sore feet.

 Great boot, Great price
Exceptional boot. Hiked 400 miles on the Appalachian Trail and was completely satisfied with the durability and fit. I was looking for a boot that had ventilation and would dry quickly since I was hiking in all weather conditions. I also needed a boot that could handle ankle protection and support as well as a durable outsole with exceptional grip. The Merrell boot with Vibram outsole was the answer and gave me everything I was looking for. I've owned other boots, Vasque, North Face and Keen which were just okay but the Merrell's were the best for me in fit and durability. And at this price point makes it a deal.

Different from old MOABs
My last pair were the low tops bought from Amazon in 2016 and fit great. So I ordered the same size in high tops. They are slightly bigger than my old low tops. Maybe 3/8 inch all around. But I am keeping them as I wear socks of different thicknesses and it's not enough to go down a size.

Nice mid weight hiking boot
Merills always fit me like a glove right out of the box. They are the only boot that does.
I live on Hawaii Island on a lava flow. Just walking in the yard requires foot protection and ankle support. The Moab are a good combination of protection, light weight, and ventilation. I'm buying a 2nd pair for hiking, as these became my preferred yard work boots on day one.

MOABs for a reason
I've worn enough boots in my lifetime to know a gem when I see one. Out of the box, first day wearing them and I was blown away by how comfortable and breathable they are. My job requires me to be moving around, often outdoors, and it was straight comfort the entire day. Bought a second pair since this style's being discontinued. Ridiculous comfort, I'd keep these on market forever if it was up to me
